We divide our internships into five areas: Research and Analysis, Communications, Logistics, Technology, and the Clinton Presidential Center. Within each area there are multiple programs in which internships are available (see our available internships). The application requires that you prioritize your programs of choice, so please review the options and be prepared with your selections before beginning the application process.
Please complete all components of your application. You cannot resume a partially completed application form, so make sure you have the following components ready in plain text format before you continue:
A copy of your current resume
Identify your top five programs of interest (see Internships Available)
Short Essay: 250-500 words stating your interest in the work of the Clinton Foundation, and how the internship relates to your objectives, expectations, and future goals. Please include your experiences and skills that make you a strong candidate for the internship position. Additionally, applicants should include specific programs of interest in their short essay.
Short Biography: approximately 100-200 words
Writing sample: a short example to demonstrate your writing ability
If you are applying for a stipend, please prepare a statement (500 words) explaining your reasons for receiving a need-based stipend.
Two letters of recommendation. If you are a current student or recent graduate, we prefer that one letter is from a professor. Please fax or scan your letters of recommendation to email@example.com, or mail them directly to the location where you are applying for the internship; either the Foundation’s New York office or Little Rock office.

Internship Terms and Application Deadlines
Summer semester applications and letters of recommendation must be received by February 28th. The summer internship is from the beginning of June through the end of August.
Fall semester applications and letters of recommendation must be received by June 15th. The fall internship is from the beginning of September through mid-December.
Spring semester applications and letters or recommendation must be received by November 15th. The spring internship is from late January through the end of May.
