Nickelodeon

In 2005, the Alliance partnered with Nickelodeon’s award-winning “Let’s Just Play” interactive movement to combat the spread of childhood obesity through a comprehensive media and public awareness campaign, encouraging young people to engage in healthy and active lifestyles.



In addition to inspiring grassroots activities, events and programming, the partnership is highlighted through a television show on Nickelodeon, The Let’s Just Play Go Healthy Challenge. Now in its second season, the show follows two real kids working to achieve their personal health goals over the six months. Each episode provides helpful tips from health experts, as well as stories submitted by kids from across the country that are taking the Go Healthy Challenge. Through the partnership, hundreds of thousands of kids are learning how to live a healthy lifestyle through the power of positive examples.
