Visiting the Center

The William J. Clinton Presidential Center houses one of the largest archival collection in American presidential history. Located on the banks of the Arkansas River in the heart of Little Rock’s River Market District, the Clinton Library provides an exciting and educational experience for visitors of all ages. Featuring 20,000 square feet of exhibit space, the Clinton Library chronicles American history at the turn of the 21st century. Interactive exhibits, including a White House Cabinet Room reconstruction and a full-scale replica of the Oval Office, give visitors a first-hand look into the life and work of the 42nd president. Other featured exhibits include 13 policy alcoves and an interactive 110-foot timeline within which the history of the Clinton Administration unfolds. Another section of the museum is designed to present exhibits about life in the White House: showing the splendor of state events, the spirit of holiday celebrations and how the Clintons made the White House their home. Also included is a gallery designed to rotate exciting new exhibits through the Library on a regular basis.

The Center plays host to a number of free festivals, musical performances and special events throughout the year, providing entertainment the whole family can enjoy! It also offers several free admission days each year to commemorate President Clinton’s birthday, the Fourth of July, and other special occasions. Visitors can enjoy a quick bite or a presidential dining experience in our lovely onsite restaurant.

The Clinton Museum Store, the official store of the Clinton Presidential Center, holds monthly drawings for a signed first edition copy of President Clinton’s best selling book, My Life. The Store hosts frequent book signings and offers a diverse array of Clinton memorabilia, collector's items, crafts from around the world, and more. The Clinton Museum Store also promotes and sponsors community events related to President Clinton's environmental and healthy lifestyle initiatives.

The Clinton Climate Initiative’s Home Energy Affordability Loan (HEAL) is the first of a new breed of employer-sponsored “energy benefits” which bring energy efficiency and sustainable practices to the workplace. Employee Energy Benefits are turnkey programs that are delivered in much the same way as voluntary benefit offerings, such as a 401k or Flexible Spending Account. As the pioneer program in this movement, HEAL is primarily designed to lower the employee-participant’s home energy expenses, but future Energy Benefit offerings could target other areas of impact such as commuting/transportation or water conservation.
