Since 2001, the programs at the Foundation have accomplished some great things. Here are just four:
- Two million people now have access to lifesaving HIV/AIDS medicines purchased under the Clinton HIV/AIDS Initiative agreements.
- Through the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, more than 4,300 schools have joined the fight to eliminate childhood obesity.
- Through the Clinton Climate Initiative, 40 of the world's largest cities are working with us to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through a variety of large scale projects, including building retrofits, public transit improvements, and advanced waste management systems.
- Since its launch in 2005, Clinton Global Initiative members have made nearly 1,400 “Commitments to Action” valued at $46 billion, improving the lives of more than 200 million people in 150 countries.
