Diplomacy 101

Nov. 12, 2013 | 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. | 11 a.m. - Noon | Student Workshop
Ambassador Capricia Penavic Marshall, the most recent United States Chief of Protocol, will lead a special workshop for high school students in the ninth - twelfth grades. This interactive discussion will provide an overview of the importance of diplomacy and the roles and responsibilities of the office of the chief of protocol, a department of the U.S. Department of State.

Following the workshop, students will be led on a guided tour of the Life in the White House” permanent exhibit and the temporary exhibit, “Oscar de la Renta: American Icon.”

Due to popular demand, we have added two workshops starting at 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. To register, contact Nathan Thomas at nthomas@clintonfoundation.org.
