1. Position/Title: Junior Accountant
Location: Boston, MA

The Junior Accountant will establish and maintain working relationships with Program Accountants and Program Managers in the field. S/He will work as part of the accounting and finance team to provide financial report preparation and analysis, budgetary support and overall support on accounting matters. S/He will report to the Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall support to Program Accountants
  • Process Accounts Payables and Receivables
  • Prepare, format, and upload spreadsheets and produce regular Accounting reports
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of chart of accounts and how they relate to program activities
  • Enter or review journal entries, verifying entries by project and allocation
  • Maintain and reconcile accounts, verifying correct account balances and solving balance discrepancies
  • Provide additional accounting analysis and special project support as required

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in accounting or related field
  • 1 – 3 years professional accounting/finance experience a plus
  • Non-profit experience a plus
  • Desire to be engaged with program operations and budget formulation/execution
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and take initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills needed as well as strong attention to detail
  • Ability and willingness to work with discretion in confidential matters
  • Flexibility with working overtime as needed
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite w/advanced Excel spreadsheet capability
  • Experience with accounting software; Financial Edge experience a plus

2. Position/Title: HR Manager
Location: Boston, MA

Background:

This position will predominantly support the Clinton Foundation’s two largest initiatives, the Clinton Foundation HIV/AIDS Initiative (CHAI) and the Clinton Climate Change Initiative (CCI). Since 2002, CHAI has been assisting developing countries in implementing large-scale, integrated care, treatment and prevention programs. CCI, launched in 2006, works with the 40 largest cities in the world to establish the highest priorities for developing, financing and implementing programs which will reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Description:

The HR Manager will be based in our Boston, MA headquarters. He/she will be part of a team whose mission is to provide strategic and hands on support to the Clinton Foundation’s global programs. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for all Human Resources activities, including, but not limited to, employment, employee relations, documentation and recordkeeping, HRIS maintenance, benefits administration, compliance, compensation negotiations, payroll, and other HR projects. He/she will interact directly with country programs and hiring managers across the globe to provide all necessary human resources related support. The incumbent will supervise an HR Administrator, a Payroll/Benefits Specialist and a Safety / Compliance Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • Research, develop, and update international benefit programs
  • Work with employees and supervisors on employee-related issues
  • Manage the onboarding process and negotiate compensation
  • Work collaboratively with managers at all levels to facilitate objective guidance on employee relations matters
  • Revise employee handbooks, procedures and guidelines
  • Research international salary structures for equivalent organizations
  • Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local government regulations
  • Work with the Safety / Compliance Officer and with international managers to ensure global legal compliance
  • Maintain HRIS database ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Manage and process US payroll and prepare corresponding reports
  • Provide statistical reporting to senior management in the areas of staffing, headcount, turnover, hires, transfers, terminations
  • Manage relationships with third party benefits and services providers
  • Manage HR Administrator, Payroll/Benefits Specialist and Safety / Compliance Officer

Qualifications include:

  • Ten to fifteen years professional HR generalist experience, preferably in an international organization or non-profit
  • Dynamic, entrepreneurial individual able to create and recommend policy
  • Experience managing a team
  • Flexibility to create policies/procedures based on the organization needs, not solely based on HR best practices
  • Experience negotiating salaries
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite as well as HRIS database skills
  • Flexible, high energy individual willing to get involved in all aspects of HR
  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective ongoing relationships through all levels of the organization including executives
  • Experience developing programs, tools, processes and systems and identifying efficiencies within a business structure
  • Proven ability to handle confidential matters discreetly and to gain the trust of others
  • Ability to function independently with competence to assess priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build collaborative partnerships with culturally and linguistically diverse people
  • Excellent organizational skills and the attention to detail as well as excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

3. Position/Title: International Senior Recruiter
Location: Quincy, MA

The Recruitment Department partners with the Foundation’s leadership and management to ensure that we attract and hire quality candidates to fulfill our human resources needs. The Recruitment Team works closely with hiring managers to identify the Human Resource programmatic needs. The team develops recruiting strategies for each position and works to maintain a pipeline of strong candidates to fill key positions.

Description:

The Senior Recruiter will be based in our Quincy, MA headquarters. He/she will be part of a team whose mission is to support our global programs. The recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening and hiring programmatic and technical staff. He/she will partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and staffing profiles, develop outreach strategies and manage the screening and selection process.

The recruiter will also work on special projects related to outreach strategy, systems building and streamlining of processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers
  • Act as advisor to hiring manager to determine staffing needs and profiles for each open position
  • Work with hiring managers and Recruitment Team colleagues to identify best sourcing for each position
  • Develop a pipeline of qualified candidates using diverse, cost-effective techniques
  • Manage applicant information and status in applicant tracking database; ensure the integrity of the data; analyze data and make recommendations
  • Provide strong customer service to hiring managers and clients; ensure that candidates receive quality support and open communication through the screening and hiring process
  • Identify and screen potential candidates to assess their abilities, and recommend qualified candidates based on phone interview and pre-employment assessment; proactively manage internal referrals;
  • Contribute to outreach strategy, systems development and refining recruitment programs, tools and processes
  • Represent the Foundation in recruiting events as necessary
  • Coordinate reference checks

Qualifications include:

  • Minimum of 5 years proven recruiting experience hiring for a wide range of positions
  • Expertise in creative sourcing and applicant development
  • Demonstrated interviewing skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Experience developing programs, tools, processes and systems and identifying efficiencies within a business structure
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as with a team
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, limited structured environment
  • Adept interpersonal skills; strength in developing and maintaining client management relationships
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience recruiting internationally preferred
