The Clinton Foundation generally does not make grants to outside organizations; rather, we direct our financial resources to the implementation of our own initiatives and programs on the ground.

What kind of work does the Foundation do?
President Bill Clinton established the William J. Clinton Foundation with the mission to improve global health, strengthen economies, promote healthier childhoods, and protect the environment by fostering partnerships among governments, businesses, nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), and private citizens to turn good intentions into measurable results. The Foundation’s initiatives work to strengthen health systems in the developing world; promote economic opportunity in Africa, Latin America, Haiti, and the United States; address the root causes of climate change on six continents; and fight childhood obesity in the United States. Additionally, the Clinton Global Initiative provides a platform for more innovative partnerships to take action, bringing together a community of leaders to devise and implement solutions to some of the world’s most pressing issues. By making an unrestricted gift to the Clinton Foundation, your gift will go where the need is greatest. The Clinton Foundation staff and volunteers are making a difference by finding real and tangible solutions throughout the United States and the rest of the world.

Yes. You will receive a receipt by mail for every contribution you make to the Clinton Foundation, whether you donate by mail or online. This receipt can be used when filing your income taxes.
