As city director for the Clinton Foundation’s climate initiative in Chicago, Katie McClain works with Suzanne Malec-McKenna, commissioner for the Chicago Department of Environment, to implement projects that reduce the carbon footprint of the entire city.
Building on a lifetime of public service, President Bill Clinton established the William J. Clinton Foundation to bring people together to take on the biggest challenges of the 21st century. Additionally, Clinton Global Initiative members have made nearly 2,300 Commitments to Action to improve more than 400 million lives in more than 180 countries. Today the Foundation remains committed to addressing inequalities and delivering tangible results that improve people’s lives all over the world.
