Leading the Fight Against Climate Change
The Foundation has demonstrated that changing the way we consume and produce energy isn’t just good for the planet—it’s good for the economy. By working with cities to lower greenhouse gas emissions, measures such as building retrofits and clean energy transit are becoming standard practice in urban areas. The Foundation and C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group are working with 63 of the cities around the world to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 248 million tonnes by 2020.
