President Clinton Assists Shipment to Haiti After 2010 Earthquake
After the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, President Clinton formed the Clinton Foundation Haiti Fund to turn donations of money and supplies into direct relief for the people and government of Haiti. The Clinton Foundation supported $16 million in emergency relief supplies delivered to Haiti in the aftermath of the earthquake.

Caribbean Craft owner, Magalie Dresse
The Haiti Development Fund, funded by the Clinton Giustra Sustainable Growth Initiative and Carlos Slim, approved its first investment of $415,000 in 2011 for Caribbean Craft, a Haitian artisan and handicraft company that exports its products to Macy’s, Anthropologie, West Elm and Donna Karan.

Haitian Children Attending School
As part of the Clinton Foundation's commitment to expanding access to education in Haiti, the Foundation has provided $1.25 million to support the government of Haiti’s Back to School initiative. These funds will subsidize school fees for 400,000 students across the country for one year.

Expanding Access to Education in Haiti
The Clinton Foundation is working to expand access to education in Haiti and is working with partners on rebuilding Haitian schools that were destroyed after the 2010 earthquake. The Clinton Foundation provided $1.25 million education grant in 2011 to the government of Haiti to support their Back to School Initiative.

President Clinton Visits Caracol Industrial Park in Haiti
President Clinton visits the Caracol industrial park in Haiti on January 15, 2011. The development of the Caracol Park has been a collaboration between the Clinton Foundation, Haitian government, Inter-American Development Bank and the U.S. State Department. The apparel manufacture Sae-A will be the anchor tenant and will create 20,000 jobs. Origin Holdings & Sherwin Williams will be the second and third tenants in the park.

President Clinton and Digicel Chairman Denis O'Brien
As part of the Clinton Foundation's commitment to job creation in Haiti, the Foundation facilitated the signing of a development and operating agreement between Marriott and Digicel to build a 174-room Marriott branded hotel in the Turgeau area of Port-au-Prince. In December 2012, Digicel and Marriott broke ground on the hotel. The hotel is expected to open in 2015, and once complete, the new hotel will create 175 sustainable jobs in Haiti.
