Clinton Foundation in Haiti

Economic Development

President Clinton and the Clinton Foundation have continued to work alongside the government of Haiti to foster economic development and job creation by working with international investors and donors to help rebuild the country. With each new program, the Clinton Foundation looks at the long term-sustainability, the potential for job creation, and ways in which we can multiply positive social and environmental impact. The Foundation has facilitated four targeted investor missions to Haiti, and in 2011, the Foundation co-hosted the second Haiti  investors conference, bringing together more than 1,100  Haitian and international investors.
