Healthier Generation
President Clinton with high school students in Harlem after announcing
a collaboration with five of the nation’s leading food manufacturers
to help combat childhood obesity in America. The Alliance for a Healthier
Generation, a joint initiative between the Clinton Foundation and the
American Heart Association, was formed in May 2005 to address the issues
that contribute to childhood obesity and to inspire all young Americans
to develop lifelong healthy habits.
