What Keeps Us Going
A letter from President Clinton, Secretary Clinton, and Chelsea Clinton
“In a year that often saw the forces of division try to tear us apart, the Clinton Foundation continued our work and advanced our core values of partnership, progress, and putting people first. Throughout the year, we experienced firsthand how our programs and partners are making a difference – each providing powerful examples of how solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges are within our reach.“

CLINTON GLOBAL INITIATIVE
The Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) is a community of established and emerging leaders who work together to create and implement solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges. In 2023, CGI focused on what it means to “keep going” — to maintain and advance progress in spite of the difficulties that arise. Together, our “community of doers” are demonstrating what’s possible.
TOO SMALL TO FAIL
Too Small to Fail surrounds families with early language and learning opportunities and supports parents and caregivers with resources to talk, read, and sing with young children from birth to help prepare them for success in kindergarten and beyond. In 2023, Too Small to Fail scaled its early literacy work through states across the country and launched new initiatives to educate media, corporate, and philanthropic leaders on the impact of climate change on young children’s health and brain development.
CLINTON PRESIDENTIAL CENTER
The Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock, Arkansas, is dedicated to continuing President Bill Clinton’s lifetime commitment to advancing opportunity for everyone, instilling responsibility throughout our society, and cultivating a shared sense of community. This year, the team celebrated the 30th anniversary of AmeriCorps, welcomed diverse thought leaders and experts, and much more.
pROJECT 42
In 2023, Project 42 expanded its work to engage Clinton campaign and administration alumni and reach new audiences — highlighting the enduring lessons of President Bill Clinton’s lifetime of public service to the challenges of today; inspiring the next generation of leaders; and fostering a spirit of active citizenship and shared community.
