Audie Wong was born in Hong Kong and joined Amway there in 1981. He was appointed general manager of Amway Taiwan in 1991. In 1994, when Amway was preparing for operation in China, he was posted to Guangdong, China. In 1997, he was appointed president of Amway China, and moved his office base to Beijing, where he has since led the company’s sales operation and external affairs.
Wong is active in public and community service. He is a founding director of the Amway Charity Foundation and serves as its executive vice-chairman. This is the first foundation associated with a foreign multi-national corporation to be registered by the China Ministry of Civil Affairs. In 2009, he was appointed as the vice chairman of China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment (CAEFI). Wong also serves as permanent council member of China Center for International Economic Exchanges (CCIEE), honorary director of China International Public Relations Association, and vice chairmen of Capital Entrepreneurs Club, etc.
With sales of nearly US$ 4 billion in 2012, Amway China is the largest affiliate of Amway Corporation.
