Fred Boosey has taught at Parkview Arts and Science Magnet High School in Little Rock since 1978. He serves as the school's community liaison and chair for its Theatre Department, as well as director for student performances held in the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History, Mount Holly Cemetery, and the Clinton Presidential Center. These musical and theatre experiences focus on providing Parkview students opportunities to perform original presentations for the community and school. This year, Parkview has the opportunity to assist in the Clinton Center’s Black History Month celebration. Last year, the Parkview Music Department helped with the March on Washington 50th anniversary celebration with an original program, “Marching Our Way to Freedom,” which consisted of living history performances and music.
