The University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service was the first graduate school in the nation to offer a Master of Public Service degree.
Education is a powerful tool to use in taking on many of the challenges we face today. Poverty, economic stagnation, poor health and wellness, and a myriad of other issues can be addressed by empowering others with knowledge and skills.
Growing up, “we” was a word I was taught to use much more often than “me”. I was raised in an environment where a strong emphasis was placed on my family and my community, and social justice and civic engagement define who I am.
