"We are confident that combining the knowledge and expertise of younger leaders with the optimism and fervor of university students will lead to promising new collaborations and partnerships that will improve our world." - CHELSEA CLINTON
The Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) LEAD program is a global community of accomplished young industry professionals and entrepreneurs who are passionate about engaging with the work of CGI members to address our world’s urgent challenges. Inspired by the Clinton Foundation's mission to help people live their best life story, LEAD is a forum for exchanging ideas about how to work together to promote service and drive positive change around the world.
Participants of the LEAD program are recruited by invitation only and include highly accomplished professionals across sectors. Through LEAD, these individuals have opportunities to participate in the wide variety of programming offered by CGI.
Engagement in the LEAD program includes invitations to the CGI Annual Meeting and the CGI University (CGI U) meeting, participation in an annual LEAD meeting, as well as access to CGI’s year-round programming.
A special component of the LEAD program is the opportunity for participants to share their expertise with the future generation of global leaders: CGI U students. Through LEAD’s mentorship forum, LEAD program participants leverage their knowledge and experience to help CGI U students turn their ideas into action—a concept the CGI community is incredibly passionate about.
