Business Funds for Women Peace Builders
In 2006, Women for Women International committed to providing start-up funds and loans to women peace-builders in post-conflict areas to support their families and stabilize their countries.
As a result of this commitment, 54,985 women received $9.1 million in access to capital and small business loans, cooperative business development assistance and market-based vocational skills training.
