Commitment to Action

Changing the Conversation on Climate and Energy Policy

Commitment by

Ceres

In 2011, Ceres committed to building a national messaging platform to engage companies and their consumers in an effort to put clean energy policy back on the national policy agenda. The messaging platform will be a tool for companies, specifically members of BICEP (Business for Innovative Climate and Energy Policy), to interface with their consumers in such a way that moves both company and customer beyond their individual sustainability efforts to push their political representatives to enact real climate and energy policies. The platform will launch in the spring of 2012 and continue through the next election and into the start of the new Congress in 2013.
