In 2007 PepsiCo, in partnernship with Oxford Health Alliance, made a commitment to improve health and reduce chronic disease in China, India, Mexico, and England through segmented and specific promotions, messaging, and activities. PepsiCo's commitment to community interventions for health engaged in systematic research to enhance scientific knowledge about the effectiveness of community interventions in reducing the prevelence of chronic diseases.
CIH will develop, implement and evaluate a groundbreaking public health research and intervention program in China, India, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. Its goal is to improve health and reduce chronic disease through segmented and specific promotions, messaging and activities.
