Digital Incubation Platform for Student Social Entrepreneurs
In 2010, GlobalGiving committed to expanding opportunities for social entrepreneurs. GlobalGiving will do so by providing social entrepreneurs online fundraising and social media platforms, as well as expanding its partnership with the Global Business School Network. Each semester, GlobalGiving will work with at least one new business school whose students are particularly interested in monitoring and evaluation. GlobalGiving will engage these students by encouraging them to evaluate each other's work and the work of social entrepreneurs raising funds on the GlobalGiving website. GlobalGiving hopes to inspire rising social entrepreneurs, assess the real impact of GlobalGiving projects, and provide young business students valuable skills and experience.
