FCEM: WE-STUDY (FCEM Women Entrepreneurs Study)

Commitment by

Desma Reid-Coleman

In 2008, the World Association of Female Entrepreneurs (FCEM) committed to implement its WE-Study project to further the development of women-led businesses around the world. Through this commitment, FCEM aimed to conduct original surveys and assess comparative research on women entrepreneurs at national and regional levels.
The analysis and findings of these studies would constitute the basis for the creation and implementation of subsequent programs and projects that will reinforce women's entrepreneurship and its contribution to economic development and poverty reduction.
