Generating Ideas and Awareness
TED organized an evening salon in September 2007 and invited some of the world's most original thinkers to propose powerful new ideas for combating climate change. TED filmed the proceedings and released them on the internet to a global audience. Since that time, the talks from this salon have been viewed by 240,000 people, adding an important contribution to the debate on scientific responses to global warming.
