APPROACH AND METHODOLOGY
CGI will determine a member who faces an implementation challenge. Faculty from Hult International Business School will work with the leadership of this member to develop a business case challenge that outlines the objective of the commitment to action, the problem faced and some supporting background information. Hult International Business School will recruit student teams from business schools all around the world, including 75% of the top 100 schools. The aim is to recruit over 100 teams of 5 students. On March 5th 2011, the teams will attend their nearest Hult campus and simultaneously compete to develop the best solution to the challenge set. The teams will be given six hours to develop their solution. A regional winner will be chosen from each campus by a local panel of judges. These winners will be invited to a Grand Finale in the United States to be held in April 2011. At this event a global winner will be chosen.
IMPLEMENTATION, TIMELINE, AND DELIVERABLES
Now until April 2011 - Deliverables are a range of ideas of potential solutions to the issues faced by a CGI member.

Many charitable initiatives have an effective solution to a major problem, yet they struggle to have an impact because they face implementation challenges. Typical challenges involve overcoming local political resistance, choosing effective distribution partners, and educating the end-user. Overcoming implementation challenges is exactly what business schools teach their students, since the ability to execute is critical to business success. By bringing together a diverse body of MBA students from around the world, Hult aims to provide a significant range of potential solutions to the management team of a major CGI commitment. This 'crowd-sourcing' approach is a cutting-edge example of the latest thinking in effective problem solving.
