IFYC Amman/Chicago Youth Exchange Program - Phase I
In 2005, Dr. Eboo Patel of the Interfaith Youth Core (IFYC) committed to initiate the IFYC's Amman/Chicago Youth Exchange program in order to facilitate peaceful interaction and cooperation amongst religiously diverse young people, thereby strengthening civil society and stabilizing global politics. This first phase of interfaith youth exchange between Amman, Jordan and Chicago, United States necessitates raising $30,000 for planning and launching.
In 2013, carbon dioxide emissions comprised 82 percent of all U.S. greenhouse gases released into the atmosphere from human activities. The rising concern for our environment and the sustainability of the planet has led to more focused efforts on reversing the effects of climate change.
