In 2012, Impact Newark committed to create an ecosystem of social enterprise through the launch of a cooperative workspace, which will employ three full time employees and develop 15 companies employing up to 45 people. This incubator will offer assistance with development and deal flow, create curricula, and work with experts to teach entrepreneurs best practices. It will combine strategic, philanthropic giving with economic development to cultivate unique opportunities and partnerships.
