The Jena and Michael King Foundation funded the action campaign and website for Leonardo DiCaprio's environmental documentary: The 11th Hour $250,000.00
The Jena and Michael King Foundation supported the Nelson Mandela Foundation $150,000.00
Jena King was one of the honorees at Global Green's annual awards night. She was honored for her environmental activism. It was Global Green's most successful awards night. Jena and Michael King's foundation contributed $50,000.00 to Global Green. Global Green is building the first sustainable low income housing in New Orleans.
Jena and Michael King recently traveled to Africa with President Clinton.
In Lusaka, Zambia they watched a soccer game sponsored by the Zambia Scouts Association. The Zambia Scouts Association is helping to teach children across Zambia about HIV/AIDS through soccer and other games. Jena and Michael were deeply moved and impressed by the work done by the Zambia Scouts Association. The Jena and Michael King Foundation have donated 3000 soccer balls to the association.
