Since 2001, the Clinton Foundation has worked to improve lives around the world and build upon President Clinton’s legacy of public service.
Launching the World's Largest Microinsurance Initiative
In 2008, Leapfrog committed to establishing a $100 million microinsurance fund over 10 years. In only 18 months, Leapfrog Investments surged past its $100 million target capitalization with investments from the International Finance Corporation, KfW, BMZ, Soros Economic Development Fund, and Flagstone Re. LeapFrog is now the world's largest microinsurance initiative and is well-positioned to meet its target of providing 25 million low-income and vulnerable people with affordable insurance.
