To establish a working group to create a network of donors and participants to raise funds and ultimately deliver relief to those suffering from natural disasters or war. The working group's first project will be the establishment of the Kuwaiti Joint Committee for Support of the Lebanese People to provide relief to people in Lebanon as they recover from the recent conflict.
The working group will partner with a variety of Lebanese charities in order to deliver direct assistance to those most in need. Volunteer doctors and ambulances will be sent to Lebanon, and the Committee will work with MediSend to provide supplies for Lebanese medical facilities. The Committee will also work to establish hygiene medical relief centers for internally displaced people. A free satellite station will also be established to help dislocated family members make contact with each other. The Kuwaiti Air Force and the Red Crescent Society of Kuwait will facilitate the delivery of aid.
Following the destruction of infrastructure and the large human loss brought on by the conflict in Lebanon, it became clear that the Lebanese people needed immediate and major relief and assistance. As a result, the Kuwait Aid Foundation, with the assistance of various individuals, organizations, and the Kuwaiti government, established the Kuwaiti Joint Committee for Support of the Lebanese People to help Lebanese civilians recover from the devastation brought about by the conflict.
