Matching Industry Learning to Careers

Commitment by

Viridis Learning, Inc.

In 2013, Viridis Learning committed to address the middle-skills gap by providing workforce training and job placement services to 25,000 individuals by the end of 2014. By partnering with industry trade associations, Viridis will develop and deploy online training modules that are customized to provide the skills necessary to thrive in fields as diverse as hospitality, construction, food services, and healthcare. Viridis is also engaging community-based organizations that work with individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds to ensure that its learning programs reach those who will receive the greatest benefit from these skill-development opportunities. The completion of the training modules will result in the provision of an industry-recognized certification and greater opportunities for job placement.
