Commitment by

Sekunjalo Investment Holdings

In 2016, Dr, M.I. Survé and Survé Philanthropies committed to collecting and distributing 10 million sanitary pads through their Million Comforts Campaign. Working with Independent Media, one of the largest newspaper groups in South Africa, Survé will regularly place stories about menstrual hygiene and girls’ education in print and online publications that reach 15 African countries and millions of readers, aiming to both raise awareness of the issue and drive donations of sanitary products. Survé will also partner with local and national supermarket chains and druggists to place collection bins, as well as local organizations and schools to distribute collected sanitary napkins. By providing this critical resource to school girls in countries across Africa, Survé will support them in staying in school and realizing their potential.
