Education For Employment

In 2015, Education for Employment (EFE) and its partners committed to provide demand-driven training that will support 13,600 MENA youth, including 7,000 young women, to enter the workforce. Based on private sector demand, EFE will adopt a sector-specific approach for job placement programs that focuses on employing youth in digital, sales, construction, and hospitality jobs, among other industries seeking talent. To complement job placement training, which will result in direct job placements for graduates, EFE will implement entrepreneurship programs that connect graduates with startup support, as well as job skills trainings that prepare them to successfully integrate into the workforce. Additionally, EFE will expand operations to the Gulf by establishing EFE-Saudi Arabia and creating a presence in the United Arab Emirates.
