PACENOW: Accelerating America's Building Retrofits

In 2009, The Jack Hidary Foundation committed to dramatically accelerate the energy retrofit of the nation's built environment (deep efficiency improvements and on-site renewable energy) by making available innovative low cost financing (PACE) for both commercial and residential projects. This will be achieved through strong mayoral support, accelerated adoption of municipal PACE programs, additional PACE state enabling legislation, federal support of PACE finance, and the development of PACE finance standards/best practices.
