Petite Place Cazeau Community Prevention Program

Commitment by

Restavek Freedom Foundation

In 2009, the Restavek Freedom Foundation committed to launch the Petite Place Cazeau Community Prevention Program, which is dedicated to eliminating the 'restavek' system of enslaving Haiti's poorest and most vulnerable children. As of 2009, there were an estimated 300,000 children trapped in domestic servitude in Haiti. Through this program, the Restavek Freedom Foundation planned to train community leaders to rise up and advocate for the protection of restavek children.
