Commitment to Action

Reconnecting the Banks of The Mediterranean

Commitment by

Acevo

In 2009, ACEVO/Euclid Network committed to host capacity building workshops for NGOs in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region in an effort to increase the collaboration and connectedness of civil society in that region. The goals of this commitment are twofold: 1) to develop an efficient, effective and connected NGO community in the region, and 2) to forge strong ties between MENA and European civil societies, thereby ending MENA's isolation from the global community. Through this commitment, ACEVO/Euclid Network will compile feedback from the workshops into an online report, and foster new relationships that result from the meetings.
