Commitment by

America's Greenest Campus

In 2009, America's Greenest Campus committed to encouraging students across the country to reduce their carbon footprint and engage their peers to do the same. America's Greenest Campus hopes at least 10,000 students from at least 100 colleges will sign up for americasgreenestcampus.com. America's Greenest Campus will host a video contest aimed at promoting smart energy use and intends to receive at least 200 video submissions; the winner of the video contest will win $10,000. America's Greenest Campus will also provide two $5,000 rewards to be used towards a green project on campus, one to the school that signs up the most students to americasgreenestcampus.com and one to the college with the greatest reduction in its carbon footprint.
