Saving Children: Medicine & Reconciliation
In 2006, FXB committed $1 million to further a comprehensive and humanitarian approach, initiated by the Peres Center, bringing together Israelis and Palestinians through cooperation in the fields of health and sports. The program's components include: 1) "Training for Palestinian Doctors," granting fellowships for medical training at Israeli hospitals; 2) "Twinned Peace Soccer Schools," fostering friendships between Israeli and Palestinian children; 3) "Peace-Building Summer Camps," promoting peace and acceptance between Israeli and Palestinian children; and 4) "Saving Children," providing medical treatment for Palestinian children at Israeli hospitals.
