Vehicle Leasing Program, The Gambia

Commitment by

Riders For Health (Uk), Skoll Foundation

In 2007, Riders for Health and The Skoll Foundation committed to managing, leasing and maintaining a vehicle fleet used to provide reliable transportation in the Gambia that allows healthcare workers to deliver regular healthcare to even the most isolated communities. One of the major obstacles to successful healthcare service provision in remote areas is a lack of reliable transport to reach patients.
