Water Supply and Irrigation
In 2005, African Rainbow Minerals committed to provide basic water infrastructure for communities in the Limpopo Province of the Republic of South Africa. They will provide equipment for water drilling and pipeline installation equipment in the short term while conducting feasibility studies for the expansion of the local water storage dam. So far ARM has enabled 26 households in Makgemeng village, 40 households near Hlong Primary School, and patients and staff at Mamphahlane Hospital, among others, to access borehole water supplies.
