Working to End Child Sex Slavery Worldwide

Commitment by

Thorn: Digital Defenders Of Children

In 2010, the DNA Foundation committed to helping eliminate child sex slavery worldwide through an initiative that uses technology to disrupt trafficking online. DNA focuses its anti-trafficking initiatives around three main areas: advocacy and outreach; technology tools; and law enforcement. Recent research has yielded a new understanding of the importance and impact of demand-focused interventions, yet few organizations are focused on disrupting the demand for children who are exploited online. Through demand-focused solutions, DNA will influence the general public - men in particular - to curb child sex slavery worldwide, using technology-based approach that offers the most impact per dollar invested.
