YouthMade: Sustainable Employment in Urban Manufacturing

Juma Ventures

In 2014, Juma committed to lead the national replication of YouthMade, creating up to 400 jobs for low-income young people across the manufacturing sectors of Oakland, San Diego, Seattle, New Orleans, and New York City. In 2015, cohorts of 40 students will be recruited to the program and receive an internship in San Francisco, Oakland, New York and San Diego. In 2016, additional cohorts of 40 students will be recruited in New Orleans and Seattle.
