Economic Inclusion
Creating more equitable and inclusive economic growth and stability for all
Income inequality and lack of access to equal opportunity have been longstanding challenges for global economies — leaving millions of people behind, particularly communities of color, informal economy workers, women, and migrants.
The Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) mobilizes action to achieve economic security for individuals, families, and communities. Priorities include job creation and preparing for the “future of work,” expanding education opportunities, engaging entrepreneurs to maximize and grow their enterprises, increasing access to capital and other critical resources, enhancing human rights standards in the workplace, and closing racial, health, wealth, and opportunity gaps.
CGI engages its economic inclusion work through its flagship Annual Meeting, year-round program, and Commitments to Action: new, specific, and measurable projects and programs that address pressing global challenges.
