Humanitarian Response
Driving critical resources to communities experiencing humanitarian crises
As humanitarian crises relating to climate, conflict, and migration escalate around the globe, communities need support to meet immediate and long- term recovery efforts.
The Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) mobilizes partners in the CGI community to direct resources for response, recovery, and resilience in crisis-affected communities. Efforts are focused on increasing the speed of response to humanitarian needs, improving risk sharing among implementers and donors, and the diversity of the response networks by engaging local and nontraditional actors.
CGI engages its humanitarian response work through its flagship Annual Meeting, year-round program, and Commitments to Action: new, specific, and measurable projects and programs that address pressing global challenges.

UKRAINE ACTION NETWORK
In the face of the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, the Ukraine Action Network supports CGI partners in rapidly coordinating and amplifying response and assistance endeavors on the ground; maintaining sustained international attention; and directing vital resources for today and long-term commitments to support Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction — all while adapting to the evolving needs of the Ukrainian people.
