At 3,500 square feet, the Great Hall and Terrace is the premier special event venue for the Clinton Center and the city of Little Rock. Its 40-foot ceilings, bamboo floors, and glass walls offer guests a spectacular and unforgettable panoramic view of downtown Little Rock.
The multi-functional Great Hall can accommodate:
- Up to 250 people for a seated dinner
- 400 people for a seated lecture
- 700 people for a standing reception
The Great Hall comes equipped with the latest state-of-the-art audio visual and lighting system, including a 12,000-lumen projector and 25 foot floor-to-ceiling projection screen. With a touch of the button, translucent sun and black-out shades can turn the Great Hall's glass walls into the perfect environment for video conferencing, movie premiers or multi-media presentations. Larger receptions or dinners can also be accommodated at the Clinton Center.
For a cozier environment, there are the warm and rich tones of Forty Two, the on-site and full service restaurant for the Clinton Center. Located on the northern edge of the facility, Forty Two and its 2,500 square feet offers guests sweeping views of the Arkansas River and the 1899 Rock Island rail-road bridge, one of the inspirations for the bridge-like building.
Forty Two also features a river view terrace, where modern architecture and natural beauty converge. Forty Two can be leased after hours and can accommodate 120 people for a seated dinner or up to 200 people reception style.
Garden View Room
This venue, as its name suggests, has a gorgeous view of the Scholars Garden from just about anywhere in the room. Also included in this view is the Sturgis Building, once home to the Choctaw Railroad, now home to the Clinton School of Public Service.
Lined with oak trees and flowers native to the area, the Scholars Garden invites guests to enjoy their event outside. The garden is located between the Choctaw Station and the archive building. This 13,500 square foot green setting is ideal for company meet and greets, luncheons or a late afternoon cocktail reception.
During warmer months, the Scholars Garden also serves as an outdoor gathering place for tour groups and students attending the Clinton School of Public Service.
When you lease any of the Clinton Center's events facilities during or after-hours, private tours of the exhibit areas are also available. For information on availability, pricing or to request a special events packet, please call the Office of Events Services at (501) 370-8000 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
