CANCELED: Clinton Presidential Center Presents “Big Bets: How Large-Scale Change Really Happens”

Due to unforeseen circumstances, this program has been canceled. We are working to reschedule with Dr. Shah in 2024.

The Clinton Presidential Center Presents Dr. Rajiv Shah, President of The Rockefeller Foundation on Thursday, November 9 at 6:30 p.m. CT / 7:30 p.m. ET. Dr. Shah will discuss his new book, “Big Bets: How Large-Scale Change Really Happens,” which shares stories—from his own career, the 110-year history of the Foundation, and leaders as well as unsung heroes around the world—that reveal it is realistic to be optimistic about our capacity to make large-scale change.

Dr. Shah will sign copies of “Big Bets: How Large-Scale Change Really Happens” following the program. Click here to purchase your copy from the Clinton Museum Store available for delivery or in-store pick up at the event.

Clinton Presidential Center Presents is a partnership between the Clinton Foundation, Clinton School of Public Service at the University of Arkansas, and Clinton Presidential Library.

Dr. Rajiv J. Shah serves as President of The Rockefeller Foundation, a global institution with a mission to promote the well-being of humanity around the world. In 2009, he was appointed USAID Administrator by President Obama where he led the U.S. response to the Haiti earthquake and the West African Ebola pandemic, served on the National Security Council, and elevated the role of development as part of our nation’s foreign policy. His book, “Big Bets: How Large-Scale Change Really Happens,” was published by Simon & Schuster’s Simon Element imprint in October 2023.
