The Project strives to keep the memories alive of those lost on 9/11 and all firefighters killed in the line of duty every year. It is especially helpful for youngsters who were too young to actually understand the events of 9/11 and what that day means to members of the fire service and the country as a whole.
The Little Rock Fire Department will have an additional fire truck on hand for educational purposes, and there will be special tours for school groups. To set up a tour, call 501-748-0419. To learn more about the Remembrance Rescue Project, visit remembrance.co.
