Commitment to Action

@15

Commitment by

Best Buy Co., Inc.

In 2008, Best Buy committed to drive economic, creative, and social growth in its communities by increasing the share of voice and decision-making opportunities for early adolescents (young teens). The teen-led global social change program, @15, strives to give voice to the hopes, concerns, and dreams of 13, 14, and 15-year olds.
In the past year, Best Buy has launched the platform of @15 on national stage during the 2008 U.S. Presidential race, commisioned and released new research in the field of adolescent development, directed over $20 million in corporate philanthropy and in-kind donations, and recruited over 5,000 teen members to www.at15.com.
