Haiti: 10,000 Transitional Houses and Social Inclusion

Commitment by

Un Techo Para Mi País

In 2010, in response to the earthquake that year, Un Techo para Mi Pa?s committed to building 10,000 transitional houses, and to having more than 20,000 Haitians participate in social inclusion programs by January 2014. Finding permanent housing solutions for survivors is a lengthy process, and the transitional houses built by Un Techo para Mi Pa?s, along with the participation of affected families in social inclusion programs, offer more immediate solutions, and provide additional motivation to families as they overcome this difficult period.
