Adlibrium will provide advertisers (brands and small businesses) 'cause aware' ads for distribution in two distinct ways:
Embedding a non-profit ad or social message into a section of the client's advertisement.
Replacing the client's entire advertisement with a social message.
In option (1), the main ad that will be distributed will contain a message about the non-profit/social cause, with a hyperlink to immediately fund that cause.
In option (2), any income generated from the ad will be donated to a non-profit.
Ads will be distributed in standard, industry-defined ways (i.e. through mini apps, in application ads, search ads) with a primary focus over mobile devices.
The platform will self-monitor income generated and distributed via internal reports. The overall platform is looked after by Adlibrium Platform Services Business Unit.
The implementation has already begun on a small scale and will leverage existing partnerships and commercial relationships that Adlibrium has established with device makers, operators and associations. These partnerships will be for the distribution of the application over mobile devices, with a target of nearly two billion users across different mobile operators and handsets in the next six years.
Adlibrium aims to raise between -10 million USD over the next six years for social causes to non-profits that focus on children, hunger & food shortages, disaster recovery, and economic empowerment.
Adlibrium also aims to raise awareness of the above-mentioned causes among at least a million people, enabling them to contribute to non-profits through their mobile advertising platform.
The Internet has brought together the technology and advertising industries. Despite free platforms and advertising discounts, very little has been done in the advertising space to direct company funds toward social causes.
This commitment will enable ad distribution in a socially relevant way, as opposed to just generating cash flows, while not hurting the advertisers' bottom line. Adlibrium believes that if certain ad formats are 'cause enabled,' there would be more funds raised and awareness generated for many non-profits.
Adlibrium's platforms will allow any brand or small business to select if they'd like to dedicate their ad space towards a non-profit. If selected, advertisers can direct users toward the non-profit's donation page. Adlibrium will not receive any income from the sale of the ad and will donate 75% of that amount to a non-profit working within the above mentioned fields.
