Safe Mobility for Uruguayan Children

Commitment by

Maria F. Rodriguez

In 2010, the Gonzalo Rodriguez Memorial Foundation (GRMF) committed to teach road safety education programs to school children ages 4 to 12 and teachers in the two provinces in Uruguay with the highest rate of road traffic fatalities. Beginning in 2011, the Foundation aims to implement this plan, which is aligned with recommendations from the WHO on injury prevention, in order to protect today's children and educate them as tomorrow's drivers.
